Faroblix is a second-generation antihistamine medication which is used in the treatment of allergic rhino conjunctivitis and urticaria. It exerts its effect as a selective histamine H1 receptor antagonist. Faroblix advantage is that it has faster onset of action, non-drowsy and cardiac safe. Bilastine has demonstrated good efficacy in international trials, excellent tolerability profile, fast onset and long duration of action and non-sedative nature because of minimal CNS penetration therefore it can be considered to be used as first line antihistamine in the treatment of chronic urticaria and allergic rhino conjunctivitis.

Dosage : One tablet a day for elderly and adolescent aged 12 years and above. The tablet must be taken one hour before or two hours after the meal.
